USY is an international youth organization for Jewish teenagers in grades 9 through 12. Sponsored by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, USY offers programs through Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael Membership in USY entitles you to participation in programs on three levels: Chapter, Regional and International. It also includes a subscription to Achshav!, the USY quarterly magazine.

KADIMA is the international youth organization for Jewish pre-teens and teens in grades 6 through 8. Sponsored by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, KADIMA offers programs through Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael. Membership in KADIMA entitles you to participate in all Kadima activities. Every KADIMA member also receives Kol Kadima, a quarterly magazine that includes stories, games, articles about Jewish topics and other activities of interest.

The Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael USY and KADIMA chapters plan several programs each month, including movie or sports nights and joint events with other chapters. Members are encouraged to participate in conventions, which provide opportunities for social action, study and the chance to meet other USYers from New Jersey, around the country and around the world. Youth group members participate in many of our congregational activities. The annual Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael Purim Carnival is run by SPRUSY with the help of KADIMA as part of their fundraising activities.

Members of SPRUSY and KADIMA are eligible for scholarships from our Youth Scholarship Fund for Jewish sponsored summer trips. Scholarships are based on merit and are given to those members who have demonstrated active involvement during the course of the year.
