Every Jewish boy and girl needs an intensive Jewish education; an education that will provide the tools necessary to experience the inspiration and joy of Jewish living. We believe that a Jewish education should guide our children towards maturity as integrated personalities rooted in our faith, our peoplehood, and our traditions, preparing them to lead significant roles in a developing, creative American Jewish community.

Important Information
Our Curriculum has the following goals
  • To imbue the child with love of God and trust in God’s goodness, finding expression in the student’s experience of prayer, Shabbat and holiday observances, and performance of Mitzvot.
  • To create and encourage opportunities for the child to develop spiritual and ethical sensitivity.
  • To develop a desire and convey the skills necessary to practice the Mitzvot and traditions of Jewish life in the Synagogue and in the home.
  • To teach Hebrew reading, writing, and vocabulary as the foundation for understanding and locating prayers in the Siddur.
  • To broaden and deepen the child’s intellectual and spiritual life through knowledge of the history of the Jewish people, our literature and culture.
  • To strengthen the child’s identification with the local Jewish community, the land of Israel and world Jewry; to engender in him or her a desire to actively share in the responsibilities of Jewish communal life and leadership.
  • To explore the teachings of Judaism and the ideals of American democracy, for the reciprocal influence they have each upon the other.
  • To motivate each student to accept study as a life-long pursuit by making his or her Jewish studies uplifting and relevant to his or her life.
